It took a few minutes to bend (and the screwdriver actually pierced the bezel from the back fairly easily).
The back of the frame couldn't slip (and I find my strength above average). I literally had to take a regular screwdriver and pry the frame back, but it still didn't work right away. It took a few minutes of flexing (and the screwdriver actually poked through the bezel from the back very slightly) to finally pop the back open, and even then it wasn't easy. It still looks pretty much the same from the front as it did before I survived that fiasco, so that's important. But otherwise, this process was terribly annoying. I never thought a picture frame could piss me off like that.
