I got this because my cat was constantly chewing on all the wires under the TV. My power strip is about 10 inches long so this box is perfect for it. I also got the covers for the wires (essential if you want the wires to be "managed" rather than just a box to cover the strip itself). The box combined with the lids and "critter cord" has made me stop worrying about my cat getting hurt while chewing! And everything together looks nice and organized.
