Sometimes a spade is a must in the kitchen, and here it is. Not everything needs to be lifted, flipped and picked up individually. This is handy for getting under the corner of a pizza that is resting on a brick or steel so your full size pizza peel can slide underneath. It also works well in a skillet for flipping pancakes and tortillas. My only criticism is that I would prefer a spatula this large without the raised sides as many of the things I want to flip are larger in diameter than this spatula. Raised sides get in the way of this and make it less useful to me. I just want something wide open and flat, heat resistant and a bit flexible.
