The kit has two spring options. Spring trips are very short. The built-in yellow spring is rated for riders up to 160 pounds, the blue spring for riders over 160 pounds. There are no assembly instructions, just a diagram and a link to the installation video, which is terrible. The installation video is wordless and sped up with a silly logo, making it hard to tell where to use the included screws/hardware. You will need to use one of the screws provided to replace the screw holding the fender in place. The shaft of the new device has grooves where your existing hardware should be, but in my case the grooves were clearly incomplete and I had to press down on the hardware. All in all I will never buy this set again and am considering returning it. , because after all the trouble of fitting, I see that there is room left when fitting, which causes my stem to move back and forth a few mm. This is because the kit manufacturing tolerances are so terrible.
