I really like this light box. It will be very light so you can easily see through the lightweight fabric and cross stitch. In fact, I turned the brightness down a bit for this cherry blossom design. (See my video) I appreciate having 2 magnets. They are strong, but I would like 4 magnets due to the nature of what I do with small multi-layer builds. Regular kitchen magnets won't work on this lightweight pillow. The 2 supplied magnets are particularly strong. So far I've only used this for Diamond Art Designs, but I can see it being useful for other purposes as well. I also use an easel for what I do and it works great for that. I have another light box that doesn't have a magnetic function. So if you have a choice, I would go for this one with magnets. You may not always need them, but when you do, they're nice to have.
