Review on 🐶 SMONTER Heavy Duty Dog Crate: Strong Metal Pet Kennel Playpen with Prevent Escape Locks, Large Dogs Cage on Wheels - Dark Silver, Y Shape by Dave Howard

Great kennel, no big trays

I haven't had this kennel in a week and had such high hopes when I saw a welded steel bar construction (I had to snap off a few protruding metal threads). at odd angles and a lump of excess weld) and the prior review. My 1 year old rescue Rottie does great in this kennel but is not overly destructive after the pup chews and sometimes goes over the limit with his toys. A rescued Husky/Malinois, also known as a No-No-Beast, suffers from severe separation anxiety. She very quickly pierces a puddle at the bottom of the kennel, trying to escape by brute force (holding steel bars in front of the plastic kennel gate because she avoids metal. And destroying the plastic fasteners.) After only 2 hours in the kennel where she was kept - I hoped she wouldn't need any medication as she was so open and didn't respond well after the first dose - I was wrong. She not only gnawed at the corners of the trays, she ripped them open like an old floor! It would be spectacular if the trays were at least a little as strong as the kennel itself. (It was written all over the place saying it weighed over 70 pounds.) The kennel itself is beautiful. A few nuts were difficult to screw into the studs due to the location of the holes. You have to lift and tilt the bolt to tighten the nut.

Pros
  • boxes, houses and pens
Cons
