In some cases I prefer transparent Edison bulbs. These bulbs are more standard in shape than some of Edison's more decorative bulbs, which can be useful for certain applications. I also like the 3000K color temperature. To me, this is a good color temperature for most applications, especially indoors. It's not overly yellow, but it's not stark white or blue either. This is a really good middle ground for attractive light that suits almost any room. The only places I really like going with whiter lights is the garage. So far these bulbs are working well but I can't comment on durability as these LED bulbs should last for years.
