I'm not 100% sure, but I'm very skeptical that this is a real nickel-copper ("nicopp") brake line. (If so, it's definitely more than typical contamination.) I've installed other brands of nickel/copper tubing on a few other cars in the past and have found that the tubing oxidizes (no, not rust) very quickly. This one here. ' but oxidation) - like the next day quickly. After a few weeks I noticed that I'm pretty sure it's real rust. At this point I am extremely skeptical that this will last as long as regular uncoated steel brake lines. Time will tell I think.
