Almost perfect for hard drive case

I like the build quality. The aluminum body feels solid and looks good next to my iMac. I used a 3.5" RAID enclosure with two drives to store photos and music. The system has worked well for 5 years, but it is a large, heavy black box that is not very portable. Because I used standard 3.5-inch hard drives in it, the bottleneck for processing photos was the speed of the drives. The 3.5" RAID enclosure alone cost more than this small 2.5" case with a pair of 2TB Samsung EVO SSDs, so it seemed interesting. two WD Firecuda hard drives when copying a large amount of files. He just went offline. However, when I used a simple Micro USB charging cable to provide additional power. Using it with two SSDs didn't cause this kind of power issue, but adding extra power gives me peace of mind. I found that the speed tests on the Samsung EVO SSD don't deliver the expected throughput. I have an unnamed single drive enclosure that easily beats it with the same drive, but it's still a lot faster than standard hard drives. Now I can back up this little device to my iMac's old RAID and TimeMachine, a small RAID when I travel with my laptop. So the two small downsides to this device are that its hardware can be a bit faster and it's not recognized by the iOS 13 Files app so I can't access it from my iPad.
