Overall the wood appears and looks to be of good quality. However, note that no step-by-step instructions are provided. They contain a UWA image and are labeled parts, but this may take some time. A little trial and error to figure out the order in which everything needs to be assembled. Also, there are no screw holes in the seat part. So if you want to attach this to the bench (because you do) use the screws provided, if you don't hulk and can drill through thick stuff with a standard screwdriver (also not included) you'd better have one have drills
