Review on Electric Fuel Pump E11010 for Onan 5500 RV Generator Set: Reliable Replacement for Onan 149-2331-03 and Cummins # A029G426 & A047Z224 by Chase Dunn

I just replaced the stock fuel pump with this one after only 17.5 hours. The original pump became too weak and could not even pump fuel from the tank through the filter. I found a YouTube video with a blogger walking you through each step just like Jason Statham did...you'll know when you see it. The seller had printed specifications and contact information on the pump and filter (purchased separately). Same flow rate and DC boost as OEM. Everything was the same, maybe even better as the wires came with plastic tubing to protect against chafing. I had no problems installing it in the Onan 4000. Only one screw is used, the other side of the fuel pump bracket is fixed in the tab like the original. The RV industry can be a brawler with parts and accessories, save some money for other needs. If you live in the Southwest, pay attention to the outside temperature. Fuel can vaporize as the generator heats up (converts fuel to vapor) and also shortens fuel pump life.
