Not like the original

I bought this because I've had the same thing for years and loved it. It's not the same; it's much lighter and doesn't feel very strong. The adjustment is weak; You have to make sure it's straight. This is fine with softer cheeses, Monterey Jack, and soft cheddar, but struggles with sharper cheddar. The wire seems to be taut; I don't think it will take long. AND - IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE EXTRA WIRE AS SPECIFIED!
