Review on ๐Ÿ“ท Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.4G Lens with Auto Focus: Perfect for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Adam Wawrzyski แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done, but I wont buy any more.

Now that I've had my first fix, it's time for me to write a short review about it. For a considerable amount of time, I debated between the 50 mm 1.8 and the 1.4. I decided to get 1.8 after taking a few test photos with it. The picture quality was not to my liking. Greases. Inaccurate focus. It would appear that the lens also needs some sort of correction. It was determined that we would replace the lens with a 1.4. Nevertheless, in order to indulge in this luxuryโ€”which required an additional payment of several thousand dollarsโ€”I was required to purchase a more expensive model. ( Nevertheless, everything was not for naught. The overall picture quality as well as the quality of the 1.4 lens itself is significantly better than that of the 1.8 lens. Heavier. The quality has improved. There is less of a blur. It was a mistake on my part to wait so long before purchasing it. Both the D3100 and the 1.4 need to be adjusted in order to produce appropriate results. At other instances, the concentration is thrown off by a value of 2.8. On the other hand, rather of giving it to a service, it is preferable to just leave it as it is. Interference with newly installed apparatus is not something I enjoy. This is a somewhat uncommon aperture setting for me. Having said that, I do require a buffer. Excellent for portraits that are full height and take place above the knee. I would suggest. I gave it a score of 4 out of 5 stars for the only reason that I was unable to deal with more expensive editions. I wish you the best of luck with your purchase! Choose models that don't have a front or back focus.

Pros
  • Sharpness, aperture, the possibility to use it on cropped as well as full-frame cameras, and stunning bokeh are all features of this lens.
Cons
  • The cost, the requirement for modification when used with cropped cameras, and the poor performance while shooting in green mode (just opens the entire aperture on the D3100)
