Review on Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2: Ultimate 10-Inch Tablet Keyboard, Case & Stand in Black (K39519US) by Pete Juarez

I bought this to use with Xyboard 10.1. The xyboard has the socket at the bottom and the power button at the top right. To charge this device and keep using it at the same time as the keyboard, I flipped the whole thing. It's ok as the screen rotates automatically. So the jack is on the top and the power button is on the bottom left. The KeyFolio comes with two sizes of hook and loop fasteners. I had to use one of the smaller corners for that bottom left corner so I could access the power button. After several days of use in 67 degrees Fahrenheit (certainly not high temps) the adhesive on the back of this smaller brace broke in the lower left corner. I filled it with epoxy and everything is fine now. I will add an industrial grade Velcro strap to the back of the tablet to provide additional support. The keyboard is very good and it is very easy to connect it. The battery on the keyboard is excellent and very easy to charge from any microUSB. The instructions are very good. One thing I would improve is a one piece bottom support for the tray instead of two independent corners. The tablet's weight exceeds the physical strength of the rubberized corners. I understand that Kensington wanted to use a material that would never scratch your tablet, and it certainly is. Unfortunately, it is too soft for my taste. I would have liked a harder plastic that holds the tablet more firmly. I'm going to solve the whole problem simply by using an industrial grade velcro on the back of the tablet. I don't need to remove the tray from the folio. All in all, this KeyFolio is a great and essential addition to the Xyboard 10.1 when used by the elderly with arthritis. The Xyboard 10.1 has a stylus and the Keyfolio has a Bluetooth keyboard. I hooked them up for my mom and she loves it.
