-UPDATE- Futurizta Customer Service contacted us concerned about a problem I was having with the adapter and helped solve the data transfer speed issue (was USB 2.0 speed only) . It turns out that the way the adapter is connected allows you to get USB 3.0 speeds in just one position of the USB-C cable. So depending on how you connect it, you get USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 speeds. I ran another round of testing with even more external SSDs, and indeed I'm getting USB 3.0 transfer speeds now. Very grateful for the time (Alex Rockstar) and effort in resolving the issue with me.
