Review on Transfer Charging Military Aluminium Ergonomic by Cameron Aleman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Trial and error with cable alignment

-UPDATE- Futurizta Customer Service contacted us concerned about a problem I was having with the adapter and helped solve the data transfer speed issue (was USB 2.0 speed only) . It turns out that the way the adapter is connected allows you to get USB 3.0 speeds in just one position of the USB-C cable. So depending on how you connect it, you get USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 speeds. I ran another round of testing with even more external SSDs, and indeed I'm getting USB 3.0 transfer speeds now. Very grateful for the time (Alex Rockstar) and effort in resolving the issue with me. I am updating my rating as it offers fast data transfer as well as great customer service. Below is a first overview. An attractive and well-made USB-C female to USB-A male adapter. Requested for review as 10Gbps data rate is supported. It's not like this. Speed tests show that it is USB 2.0 in terms of data speed. The maximum read and write speed is 42 MB/s when testing an external SSD with a speed of around 1000 MB/s. Disappointing. 2 stars because it works great as an adapter, albeit at much slower speeds than expected. Stars removed due to very misleading product. Designation.
