The box these rocker switches are mounted in is solid aluminum and doesn’t flex at all. The rocker switches have a firm snap when thrown, are well-designed, and seem to be rock solid. The female spade connectors that connect the switches on the back side are all insulated and have a locking tab that keeps them from being pulled off. However, they come off easily if you want to remove them. You can easily push in on the locking tab and remove them.If you don’t want the small LED light at the bottom of the rocker switch to be on (it is lit whenever the box is powered on), you simply remove one of the female spades on the back inside the box and it will only come on when the switch is thrown. The large LED light on each switch comes on only when the switch is thrown.You can label each switch with one of over 140 transparent labels. In the pictures, you can see I chose to label one switch "Alien Light”. The pictures also show a USB cord plugged into one of the USB ports.With the switches in the off position, the small switch lights on, and the voltmeter on, the box pulls about 20 ma. The voltmeter is exceedingly accurate. I measured it with a very accurate meter, and it was always right on.
