Review on 🧹 Enhanced OXO Good Grips Under Appliance Microfiber Duster Refill by Keith Ostby

I'm an OXO fan. I've bought other products from them before that I really like! I bought this fine rag attachment which I also bought at the same time. However, when I received them, I immediately sent them back. I was looking for real microfiber that is a blend of polyester and polyamide - typically 80/20: 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Polyamide is the key element, it is a unique material with star-shaped fibers that provide grip. Cheaper blends will be 90/10 and high quality blends that are harder to find will be 70/30. I tried to find out the mixing ratio for this before I bought it, but nowhere in the product details or customer questions was it said anything about the dressing or the thinnest rag. However, I trusted the OXO brand, having had good experiences with it in the past, and bought it. When they arrived I checked the label on the 'free' packaging which already came with a thin rag as this replacement cartridge was sealed in a plastic bag which I couldn't reseal if there was a problem. I did well because it was written 80% polyester and 20% nylon. (see photo) No polyamide! As much as I love OXO, I'm only giving this product 1 star - I don't like paying for a product that's supposed to be microfiber and then realizing it's not.
