I haven't used it in conditions where I sweat a lot, but it worked fine just running in the heat. However, I gave this product two stars because after removing the lining, the elastic left marks. To be honest the stripe on my hat is made out of what looks like velour, it has a bit of texture. However, I do not consider this to be an acceptable result. Even though it's a fairly modest profile, it adds a bit of volume. This probably isn't a problem for most people, but my hat barely fits my head, and the sweat lining has made it noticeably tighter. I'm not scolding him for that, just a note to my big-headed brothers.
