The top of the base plate is so thin it's barely thicker than thin balsa. Upon delivery (or possibly manufacture) 2 of the 6 top panels are cracked. 1 complete, 2nd on the surface but it will likely continue to tear at some point. So they are really only suitable for experimentation or for children's parties, where they will eventually be thrown away. Definitely not art quality materials, but if you just want wood paneling for a color filled party, this is a reasonable price. Depends entirely on your intention!
