I bought these gloves for work. I'm a master mechanic. They work in many different professions. The gloves are durable and chemical resistant. I really liked the fact that not a single defective glove was pulled out of 100 boxes. They are not as puncture proof as expected. Wear them under cloth or rawhide gloves. I tore mine slightly with a wire wheel (double grinder), other. rusty surfaces, hose clamps and many other places under the car and under the hood. Be careful not to slip your gloves on or near rough/sharp surfaces. Note: These are good gloves for the money, but I need something stronger. I recently bought Ammex Gloveworks orange nitrile gloves. They cost $6 per box. more. They work better and last longer, but I really don't like the price. I'm humble, so I can go back to combat gauntlets. Hope that helps.
