It didn't come on the promised date at first because the company changed it without notice so my daughter didn't get her birthday present until after her birthday. When this happened after a day of charging with both the Chromebook's charging light and charging indicator, we found that the device was completely unresponsive. Didn't turn on, the light on the bottom of the unit went out. I picked it up to put in the box and heard the not-so-reassuring sound of something sliding into the laptop. So now my daughter is waiting for a birthday present again.
