Works well. I bought these because I didn't want to leave the PS4 in sleep mode just to charge the controllers. Unlike the PS3, the PS4 controller's batteries last significantly less. There is no LED indicator on the unit, which is not necessary for me as the DS4 will blink while charging and stop when fully charged (just like charging from the console.). You can charge two controllers at the same time (or just one). They come with an AC adapter so you can charge them virtually independently of your PS4. As soon as you press the DS4 into the base, it clicks into place. To let go, you do the same. Feel free to ask any questions.
