I bought two of these in August 2016. I installed them outside as additional IR lighting for my Amcrest cameras. These lights worked well for me. At times I thought I had a problem with one of them, but it turned out to be a flimsy extra power extension cord I ran between the power supply and the flashlight itself. It was so thin that it was damaged internally, although there was no visible external damage. This was because I left the "makeshift" wire in place for too long. I recently purchased a power supply and wiring that I intend to use for a permanent installation that is also better suited for lighting as the correct voltage is provided over a longer length of wire. I would advise people to check their wiring. before writing off the light. I recommend these lights as they have had me running and working with their sensors every night from dusk to dawn for about 10 months. I expect to buy more for additional uses in the future.
