Compact alternative to vacuum sealing
I bought this item because it gave me an alternative to using a larger Foodsaver machine to de-air zip-lock Foodsaver bags (which do not require heat to seal) bot. The device is surprisingly small and compact, yet has the power to extract air from liter or gallon Foodsaver bags. I found it quick and easy to use and leave it on the counter (connected to the charging cable). I haven't tried it on other Foodsaver containers so I can only recommend it for use with pouches.
