I was able to easily charge both camera batteries. And I'm sure the charger is AA type.
I have two separate soap dishes that were purchased used (and therefore no chargers) and I didn't want to mess with separate chargers. Although the instructions were a bit confusing at first, it did exactly what I needed once I figured out how to operate the charger. I was able to easily charge both camera batteries. And I'm sure that one day an AA charger will come in handy too. For the price this is a good buy!
