Review on Makita 99390 Impactx Socket Adapter by Brad Schillings

I am currently using this adapter on my Dewalt DCF887 1/4" impact wrench (rated 150 ft/lb). This is a replacement for my Dewalt adapter, which came with my last impact wrench. I chose this adapter as it was about 1" shorter than the Dewalt counterpart, allowing me to use the drum tool in tight spaces. Especially handy as I do a lot of car work. In comparison compared to its Dewalt counterpart, this adapter is tiny. In addition to being short, the shaft diameter is also significantly smaller. To be honest, I expected it to break, but it didn't. This adapter has withstood all the abuse, which i've been through in the short time i've had it i have lug nuts, some suspension bolts, some axle nuts etc with this em adapter removed without problems. Whatever it is, I think this adapter is definitely worth its $4 and I would recommend it to anyone who uses a small percussion instrument like me.
