I hate taking out a screen and then washing it. For years, my Bialetti pasta pan has been the answer. It has a lid that fits and drains water. The problem is that the non-stick coating wears off over time. After my second Bialetti started to wear out, I looked for other alternatives. I have All Clad pots and pans and some of them have a rim. I read a ton of reviews and many of the silicone screen clamps said they wouldn't work with a lip. This one seems to be able to. Well it is. It works with my All Clad and Instant Pot. Works with both large pots and small ones. We like it very much. It's so easy to take out, use and then clean. As mentioned, you have to be careful when draining the water, but it's no big deal. At Bialetti I also had to carefully drain the water. So you pour a little slower. It's certainly better than having a colander in the way and then cleaning it up. I wish I had discovered this earlier.
