I have a 29 gallon Nano Reef Oceanic Biocube and had a shaft generator that just stopped working after 3 years so I decided to get a new shaft generator, found this one not the same was expensive compared to top brands and was rated for the same flow rate as my previous shaft generator (2200 GPH) so I got the Slim Pro 8000 and men! This thing is very powerful for its size, I wasn't expecting it. what do I like about it? it is very small compared to the bulky wave generator ball I had previously, this means I have more room in the tank for the fish to swim in. I also like the fact that you can control the shaft generator in the app and set different work schedule My Slim Pro is on gyre 40% from 8am to 4pm and continuously on 10% from 4pm to 12pm Clock and off set from 12:00 to 8:00 Fish can sleep without them Big Flow. I also like that you can take the wave generator out of the tank to clean it without having to take the magnets out of the glass and guess where it was before. I'm very happy with it, I hope it lasts longer than the jebao I had before. I'm also thinking about converting my Nano Reef to a 90 gallon cube in a month or so and since this thing is so powerful it can serve me 100% there too and I'm very happy about that!
