My son wanted to try inline skating so we bought him some skates and this helmet and pad set. I love that we can get the helmet as well as the set of knee pads, elbow pads and wrist pads in one package. It's nice that you can choose from a variety of colors (my son wanted a green kit and he's very happy with it). ). I think the quality of everything seems good. The only issue we have is that my baby is very skinny and we ended up actually making changes to the velcro stitching on the pads to fit snugly around his skinny arms and legs. So if you are buying a kit for a very skinny child, keep in mind that you may need to adjust it.
