Our neighbor has three obnoxious dogs who literally bark every time we open the back door and run to the fence and bark like crazy. They bullied up to the fence and were very aggressive, so I feared they would climb over the fence several times with my little dog. However, I was skeptical before buying it, but I was able to hang it up. at the back of our shed so it faces straight into her yard and acts as a barrier so it doesn't bother my dog. After a couple of weeks the difference was noticeable, and after six months we almost don't hear them anymore. My dog loves being back in the garden! We had just had the roof replaced so we had to tear it down and the dogs started barking and being aggressive again. Reset and no more squeaks. Now a bark will start the device and mute everyone. It's also at around 25 feet, so to my surprise it seems effective at that distance. I hardly see their dogs. Also, it doesn't come with a battery, but make sure it has enough power and you'll get plenty. I would recommend it to anyone facing a similar problem. I think mine is just over 5 feet tall and there is a fence and it still works as promised.
