Review on Elkadart Rhino Tungsten Storage Travel by Kipp Amundson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice dart made of 80% tungsten

Elkadart Rhino. I first heard about this brand when I saw them here at Revain. After almost 30 years of throwing darts, I've seen so many changes to darts that I had to try these. The price is so low it was hard to believe. This review is only about barrels as I only use my own blades and shafts. So I never judge a dart by them or how they can affect the barrel's flight. The trunk is what you basically pay for. I'm mostly used to using 90% tungsten darts but things have changed over the years and I wanted to try these. I was surprised to find that these 80% tungsten darts were almost as thin as the 90% I was used to and also the barrel was much shorter than expected. Usually a smaller, thinner tungsten dart is longer to compensate for the greater mass, but not in this case. (Hope for a longer run) This is a well balanced, high quality, precision arrow! Personally I couldn't use them as I liked the longer barrels so I sent them back but don't let that put you off they are worth the small price. Like I said, they're too short for my grip, but they're not a super short barrel. I use most of the barrel when holding the arrow, so I need the long end of the spectrum. However, if I had a different grip I would buy 2 of these sets as I prefer to throw 6 darts instead of 3 to cut my training time in half. Walk less lol. I hope you find this review helpful.
