This is the real deal. I have used this material for both 100 amp tig/stick welding and heavy duty car audio applications. It's heavy and real copper, full in comparison to the BS you get with "subwoofer kits" which have thick plastic shielding and a tiny amount of plated aluminum wire. With a subwoofer, I don't know if I can tell the difference, but welding with my setup sometimes requires squeezing out each amp, and this quality wire helps me with that. Besides, it's just good American quality.
