This is a system for those who want to save money on a camera system and don't want to sacrifice options. It's a 4-camera system that's easy to set up and gives you the ability to do much of what a more expensive system will already do for you. It was well packaged, nothing was loose in the box. All the other cameras I communicate with are connected to the TV in the living room, which is where the broadband router is. I don't know if there is wifi or not. It doesn't come with a hard drive to record the channel, but there are instructions for how to do it. I can do this in the future if I feel the need to. The cameras were pretty easy to set up. Thanks to the software that allows you to rotate the feed, you can adjust it as you like and adjust it if necessary. One thing I would consider an improvement is that the cameras weren't labeled 1-4 in the box. I had to connect each one and figure out which is which. I just feel better having a camera 1 on my front door etc. The software you download to your devices offers many configuration options, including body detection aggressiveness, alarm schedule, and more. One of the things I like about it is that it's not a proprietary system. Everyone wants to hack all commercially popular systems, not this one. That, plus a bit of configuration, makes me feel a little bit better on this system as opposed to the Google/Revain/somebody else out there system.
