First off, don't expect this to work wonders on heavily tarnished silver. To completely remove tarnish you will need some grease, a good silver polish and a cloth. Speaking of reviews, I like to keep my jewelry clean. I take great pleasure in the fact that the decoration sparkles and shines. I often clean my jewelry without a good old toothbrush and a bottle of jewelry cleaner. I wanted something that lays under the rocks that I can't get to with a toothbrush, like rings with a full finish on the underside. I threw in quite a few different knick-knacks; Gold, silver, precious stones, diamonds and zirconia. I am very pleased especially with how well he cleaned my gemstone necklaces which didn't look dirty until he cleaned them. I definitely recommend it. It doesn't clean as well as industrial cleaners found in jewelry stores, but it's great for in-between passes like a bridal set. It will return the shine in three minutes. I've used the lightning cleanser and am happy but willing to try other cleansers. I didn't take before and after photos of the cleaned items simply because they weren't dirty enough to make a good comparison. However, I took water before and after which was surprisingly dirty. All in all a well spent 30.
