My doctor friend friend recommended BCAAs to me years ago, but I never got around to it. He also recommended intermittent fasting. I didn't think I could handle it at the time, so I put both of those things out of my head. I've been doing intermittent fasting ever since and love it. So maybe I was thinking about BCAAs as well. I tried this product and really didn't like the taste. I know that some amino acids must be taken without food because they compete for receptors. I haven't been able to find a direct answer to this question from a reputable source. I also found little evidence of the benefits of BCAAs. Time.
