Review on 🗄️ Sabrent 9U IT Wall Mount Rack Enclosure 19 Inch Black Server Cabinet - Fully Assembled (CT-DSWL) with Locking Glass Door by David Perez

Unlike the last one I ordered, this cabinet arrived almost intact. It was sheer luck that got him here safely as the packing work was so bad it's a miracle he survived the journey. There was a small piece of 1/8 inch thick foam around the edges of the case, but that's about it for shipping protection. As with the last one I ordered, this one came without papers. No guarantee. No product information. Nothing. The included hardware and keys are simply scattered around the case, making them difficult to find at first. It looks like they were once in a plastic bag, but the bag was cut open before shipping. Despite all this, the product itself is fine, but definitely looks better from the outside than its actual construction. I've worked with many 19" cabinets over the years and the sheet metal used for this cabinet is the thinnest I've seen. This is consumer class, something you would never use in a real data center. The internal mechanics of the stand are well made and the construction itself feels solid. The material itself just isn't strong enough to compare to a 'real life' data center cabinet. It should be fine if you use it at home or in a small business environment. That's it. It should be obvious that this device is being sold so cheaply, but I was definitely hoping for something better.
