Someone else wrote a review of this monitor as using a 1990's monitor and that is an accurate description. I bought this monitor with high expectations as I love LG monitors. I didn't like this monitor in particular, so I sent it back to Amazon. Screen flickering is real and annoying. The bigger issue is that it's listed here on Amazon with a 170-degree viewing angle, but that's not the case. It's awful when viewed even slightly off-centre, and the color change and glow are terrible, worse than anything I've seen on any other VA panel, even the much cheaper 32-inch 4K HDR by BenQ. This monitor has major issues with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, as well as brightness and contrast levels. There is no way to calibrate the screen to work in all games, either it's too dark or the entire screen is covered in a gray film, no matter you set the Xbox to RGB or Standard and the monitor to Low or Normal set. Negro, it's just gone. Also using a fast or faster refresh rate doesn't really help with the ghosting issues I've noticed, I was expecting more from a panel listed as 4ms. For those looking for a positive, USB-C works well for the iPad Pro, and hdr stands out pretty well in games and movies if you can overcome the terrible screen/color shift.
