Missing part, refuse to make it right.

The antenna works pretty much as you would expect from a tiny vertical antenna used on the lower bands. It's very tunable and I was able to make contact with it on 15, 20 and 40 meters. It's small and portable, packed into a very compact system that's pretty easy to set up and take down. So a good idea for trips or emergency operations. Setup is a bit tricky and I would recommend having an antenna analyzer with you so you can walk to the antenna, plug in the analyzer and tune in on part of the signal. the track you want to work on, then run back to your rig to work on that area of the track. This is not very convenient if you want to move from place to place in a group or switch between groups. In other words, it's not a very broadband channel and you have to fiddle with it every time you want to go to a different part of the band. But that's just the compromise you'd expect from such a small, easily packable antenna. My main criticism is the manufacturer who missed out on the "supership" that I was supposed to get. They refuse to do it right. It's kind of a trifle (I could easily build it myself) but it just annoys me that they are so adamant that they DO NOT acknowledge the problem and offer to ship it to me. It was supposed to be in the package but wasn't at all. So this is pretty disappointing.
