After reading the comments of other people, I want to note the following: - "connect to an expensive amplifier, then they will definitely play, open up" - indeed, with an expensive amplifier, the sound will be better, but for example, it is not important for me to "open the sound of the NS-6490", but the overall sound of the system, better sound, preferably at a lower cost. from the point of view of obtaining the best sound at optimal cost, the class of acoustics should approximately correspond to the class of the amplifier, otherwise the cost of an expensive amplifier will not be justified (or vice versa for expensive acoustics). Exceptions are used, donated, found in the park for a walk. The NS-6490 class is the top music centers, the most budgetary Hi-Fi amplifiers, what these acoustics are super-super class for little money is a myth. - "they play more than they cost" - really well-chosen acoustics for your ears should play better than competitors for this money, if this is not the case, you made a mistake in choosing or connecting with an amplifier, but this may not necessarily be NS-6490. In my opinion it is very difficult to beat acoustics priced at $ 250-500 NS-6490 (except for the breadth of sound) they noticeably lose to these speakers in cleanliness, detail, transparency of sound in direct comparison, it sometimes seems that the performer is right there, the sound is sometimes bewitching and magical, and the NS-6490 just has a beautiful clear sound. - "the absence of a phase inverter makes the bass cleaner and more correct" - indeed it is, however, many models (more expensive) with a well-tuned FI give the bass more correct and clean, especially since the FI can be repaired with foam mugs. - "more expensive models do not play at all, but only the NS-6490 plays well" - this is not so, speakers that are more expensive play like the rule is better (at least for me), although the character, shades of sound can be very different. - "they play better than the $80 Microlab" - yes, this is true in general sound, but my Microlab subwoofer (with a 133mm speaker) gives more delicious bass than the NS-6490.
