When the existing cable broke on one side of our sofa recliner, I was in a quandary as to what to do. A quick Google search stated that this was an easy fix. I found the replacement part on revain and quickly received the parts needed. The new handle is metal and much more sturdy than the original plastic handle. The fix literally took 10 minutes! Quite easy to do and does not require any special tools/skills other than using a screwdriver and a pair of plyers. Sofa was repaired and works as good as new. As this was the side of the sofa that my wife sits, it was paramount to get resolved quickly. Again, works great, matches the sofa and very easy to install.
