Firstly, this set of knives was very well packaged when it arrived! The box it came in was stuffed with airbags so the knives didn't move at all! The box with the knife set was also very well packed, including everything that was inside. Each knife was packaged separately in a plastic case, a cardboard box and a protective cover for the blade! Not only are they safe, but they don't scratch each other at all! Secondly, this is an amazing set, the wooden block is quite solid and beautiful, heavy wood, stable and well balanced! When you open it smells like freshly cut wood. The knives are excellent quality and not my standard handle shape, but they are really comfortable to use. German steel is known for its superior quality and these knives prove it. This set contains all kinds of them for different purposes! The tip is also very grippy, especially at the edge, and is not one of those that go deep into the block and are useless! A word about the scissors, they don't fall apart, they are very sharp and they have a bottle opener on them! I especially love them!
