Not for people with narrow or wide-set eyes. While the progressive top-to-bottom feature is exactly what I was looking for in reading glasses, unfortunately the pupillary distance is fixed. Instead of the same magnification being the same from nose to ear in a horizontal bar or row, the 'best' point of focus seems to be set almost at the center of the lens. A person with narrow or widely spaced eyes cannot see with both eyes at the same time at the correct magnification. I tried to photograph the row of letters through the lens to illustrate this. I circled the focused area through the lens. Left or right is blurry, meaning your pupils should line up with that clear center part. Perhaps this is due to a slight curvature of the lens and a magnification factor of +2.75. The gradient from top to bottom is beautiful.
