Not for a person with narrow or wide-set eyes. .

Not for people with narrow or wide-set eyes. While the progressive top-to-bottom feature is exactly what I was looking for in reading glasses, unfortunately the pupillary distance is fixed. Instead of the same magnification being the same from nose to ear in a horizontal bar or row, the 'best' point of focus seems to be set almost at the center of the lens. Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

When I first needed the Readers, I spent $350 at the optometrist for progressives that were totally unsuitable for the job. all the distances were wrong and there was only a tiny round circle I could look through to read close up and even reading a small book I had to move my head left and right to memorize the words , when I concentrated. Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Good. At the age of 73, after using OTC readers for about 8 years, I finally needed something more. My problem was that I can't get used to bifocals. The sharp transition line makes me "seasick". And don't get used to it. I didn't even know about those OTC Level 3 transitional glasses, but I thought maybe I wouldn't have to constantly move my reading glasses around on my head (or absentmindedly take them off and forget where :( I would put them in) especially since I only did recently realized…

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
