Review on 🔧 Faithfull Spokeshave Twin Pack: Versatile Set with Flat and Round Blade by Greg Lockhart

I am a skilled carpenter and craftsman. I've read other reviews about it, but I like the challenge. I decided to buy a set to try my luck modifying, sharpening and/or tweaking them to see if they would work at all. After receiving them, I spent several hours sharpening, finishing, and positioning the blades on each, but to no avail. The blades are made of poor metal and do not get or keep a sharp edge. Metal is brittle and always has burrs that stick to wood. The opening of the chip clogs with stuck wood (no matter how thin the chips are), and as a result the chips are of little use except as a paper press.
