Review on Browne 11-1/2-Inch 3 Way Grater: Efficient, Versatile, and Reliable by Laurie Nelson

I was a bit hesitant to order this grater at first because of its higher price. I have a similar shape and style of grater that I bought from a large store much less years ago. When I received the grater I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and build quality of the product. I had high expectations for the performance of this grater and was looking forward to using it for the first time. I chose this heavy grater over my cheaper, lighter grater tonight when I needed to chop zucchini for our family's dinner. BIG MISTAKE. The tiny amount of zucchini I could "grate" was made up of small, mushy pieces. The whole experience was a frustrating exercise and ended with my hand slipping from trying to apply extra pressure to get this grater to chop zucchini. I got a cheaper, old grater - and the zucchini was grated successfully and on time. I hope this grater can grind cheese. If not I think it will be a waste of my money.
