Review on Powerbuilt 647596 Heavy Duty Folding Tire Step for Trucks, SUVs, and RVs - Large Size in Red by Carlos Massey

I've researched all the tire options available and have come to two conclusions. . . (1) Half of these are the same model from the same manufacturer at wildly different prices. (2) Others are made with very little care. This step platform features perforated sawtooth holes that provide excellent traction when leaning into the engine bay to remove a pesky #6 spark plug or clean up debris. Roof. Others have a smoother platform which can be slippery for things like this, especially when wet. Platform height and bar width adjustment is quick and easy with insert pins. . . One thing I noticed about some of the stock photos is that the step is tilted down a lot during installation. These steps are not properly attached to the tire. Fine tune the depth and complete the curve by installing adjustable feet with rubber feet that rest against the sidewall of the tire. My attached photos show this tire split on my 35 x 12.5 inch tires. I got a very flat step setting on a fairly large tire with a very bulbous sidewall due to the 15 inch wheels. Arrived packaged exactly as shown. It could not be better.
