worth your money! Worked great in many situations! (See attached microphone test video)

Attached to this review. *** I had a lot of time to test this microphone system. My first reaction is I'm impressed. I have a YouTube channel where I test and review many microphone systems. If you watch the attached video including various microphone tests I would be very impressed with the performance of this microphone system during the out of sight test. I was able to go back about 140 feet into an area with trees at various distances blocking my camera's line of sight. During this test, I was still able to capture usable audio with no noticeable dips in audio capture. In comparison, the Comica WM100 Plus performed just as well as my Sennheiser ew100 G3 microphone system in the same microphone test at the same location. However, I saw that my Sennheiser microphone system is currently listed on the Musician's Friend website for around $800. For the most part, the audio itself, I rarely picked up any unwanted noise or artifacts. The only time I can remember small drops was during a distance test when I was over 200 feet from my camera. Even during the same distance test, I was able to capture usable audio from over 300 feet from my camera. I also like that this system allows you to control the volume, which was very useful when using this mic near a loud track. I was able to completely turn off the microphone sensitivity on this system to isolate my voice while recording. Another notable feature of this system is that you can control both the low-pass filter and the headphone jack to hear the audio. This system also comes with a great carry case that fits the receiver and transmitters perfectly. My only major criticism of this system is that the receiver and transmitter are plastic. If this system were to fall onto a hard surface from a great distance, I'm not sure how this system would stand the test of time. Otherwise I think this mic system is a great budget mic for long trips unless you plan to run this system in a rough case. This is the cheapest and most reliable mic I've tested, and it's capable of picking up usable audio far from my camera, both in line of sight and in locations where the receiver is blocked by an object. This alone is a huge plus of this system. Overall, I would definitely recommend this microphone system.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive
