They work as they should and are great if you're on a trailer and have a flat tire. They seem to work on most hard surfaces. I tried it on my hard packed gravel road and it worked. However, I can see that it might not work on uneven terrain or less firm ground. Overall a CONVENIENT product for a quick lift to change tires but don't leave your regular jack behind.
