In 2 days we will have a puppy and we were in a big dilemma which cage to buy. We wanted our pup to be safe and able to read wire box horror stories. So after a little research I decided on this box. The YouTube video made it sound like it was that easy to set up. But to be honest we were disappointed. It took us a while to unpack the box from its collapsed state as the edges of the top section were scratching and the plastic was shearing off the uprights. After some fiddling, we finally expanded it. The rest of the functions worked perfectly. So I figured I'd try rolling it up to repeat the process just in case I got it wrong the first time. The box will not fall flat (I'll take this as a win as I don't want the box falling on my little pup). Another 10 minutes of jerking and scratching at the plastic and I was able to get it off. Smooth operation was the number one reason to pay for a premium box. The design is great but the quality control is poor and it shows in the same end product. Spending money on quality items is not a problem for us; However, this product leaves a lot to be desired. Update 1:12/17 - The cage is holding up well with our crazy pup, but we are using it less as a mobile cage and putting it in one place due to the issues above. . Otherwise no security issues.
