Review on ๐ŸŒ€ AC Infinity AIRCOM S6: Silent 12" Rear-Exhaust Cooling System for Receivers, Amps, DVRs, AV Cabinets by Larry Sabey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable and high-quality assembled devices!

Bought this to add to my 'new to me' Denon AVR-3310ci receiver in excellent condition (based on a very outdated non-HDMI AVR-1609). I wanted something to keep the temp down as it's a lot bigger and sturdier than my old 1609 receiver. I had both my old and new one in a slightly "open" spot at the bottom of my glass TV stand, but it sits much closer to the top of the glass and had no room to breathe at all. I measured and could barely fit the AIRCOM S6 between the glass and Denon. However, I had to remove the 4 pre-assembled rubber insulated legs from the AIRCOM S6 to put them in there, but it didn't affect them. I put much smaller rubber feet on it that I had around the house for various things. I have to say I didn't want to spend almost $50 on this thing since I'm a tight bloke but when I lit this babe I was so glad I did! I'm here to say DO NOT HESITATE to buy ANY of their products. I can only speak about certain things, but I think their next tiers of coolers will only get better the higher you go, and this S6 that I have is one of the monstrous and most powerful built-in coolers I've ever come across. I was expecting it to be a plastic frame with two regular low speed 120mm fans and that's nowhere near what I got. This is a top-notch addition for any audiophile or home theater enthusiast in need of some extra cool air movement. Even with the most demanding song or movie, I can't get my AVR to heat up, it stays completely cold and doesn't even get hot. It used to get so warm you didn't even want to touch it, that thing does it without sweating. Sure, it's a bit noisy on the highest settings, but anything below the top fan speed setting is more than tolerable. I always have a fan in every room in my house so it's going great! I have to say I'm very satisfied, I've only been using it for a few days but so far so good! I'll write back in a month or two, see how things are going and report back. If you're hesitant to even click the Buy button, DO IT NOW! Worth the money in my opinion!
